A look back at our first crowdfunders event

On Saturday, November 23, 2024, we proudly opened the doors of our bakery and office to our crowdfunders. It was special to finally meet the people who make our growth possible in person.

During the event, we spoke about the origins of Rose & Vanilla, our daily drive to create organic, gluten-free, and dairy-free patisserie—which is often vegan as well—and, above all, our goal to create patisserie that everyone can enjoy without any worries.

We offered a look behind the scenes of our bakery, shared how we work with pure ingredients, and explained how we are contributing, step by step, to a fairer and more sustainable food system. For instance, we consciously choose organic products, use no artificial additives, and are working toward reducing waste in the supply chain.

Just as valuable were the conversations we had with one another. We received inspiring ideas, practical tips, and wonderful insights that we have already started putting into action. The engagement and positive energy have given us fresh motivation to continue building our mission.

Thanks to the support of our crowdfunders, we have been able to make great strides recently: the opening of our location in Amsterdam, the expansion of our bakery in Nieuwegein, and the growth of our team. We continue to grow steadily. This event felt like an important moment to pause together and reflect on what we have achieved as a community.
